Sun., Sept. 17, 1 pm - From Exile to Jesus

E2J: FROM EXILE TO JESUS: A HISTORY OF ISRAEL’S STORIES

Once a month on the third Sunday afternoon of each month.

This fall we focus on the in-between years, between the Old Testament and the New Testament, roughly between 300 BCE and the birth of Jesus. The Apocrypha, the sacred writings of that time, are not included in Protestant Bibles. There are engaging stories, history, and wisdom literature. The Jewish festival of Hanukkah began during this time.
